We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid takedown notices in good faith, in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.

How to send a notice

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "DMCA Notice".

Your notice must include all of the following:

1. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
2. A description of where the infringing material is located on Amorine — be specific (character ID, screenshot URL, exact in-app location)
3. Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf
6. Your physical or electronic signature

Notices missing any of these elements are not valid DMCA notices and may not receive a substantive response.

Counter-notice procedure

If we remove or disable access to material in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was wrongful, you may submit a counter-notice. Email the same address with subject "DMCA Counter-Notice" and include:

1. A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal
2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
3. Your full legal name, address, and telephone number
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, the jurisdiction in which we are located)
5. A statement that you will accept service of process from the party who provided the original DMCA notice
6. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat infringer policy

We terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion.

Misuse warning

Submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice may subject you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please consult an attorney before sending a notice if you are unsure whether the use you are reporting is actually infringing.
